How It Works
By paying for a monthly subscription, you get access to worry free care. Which means that because you have a primary care doctor, you can be tested for underlying diseases that can be treated before you become ill. It also means that if you get sick on the weekend or have an injury at night, you don’t have to spend hours in an urgent care and pay hundreds of dollars.
SAM Health is invested in creating a lasting relationship with you. That means we will encourage you to get screened for important diseases, remind you to take your medicines, and check in on you frequently.
There are no walk ins. Each appointment is 30-60 minutes long. So you’re not waiting around wondering how long this is going to take. We will dedicate our time to just you, so you don’t feel rushed because the doctor has to move on to the next patient.
We don’t take insurance, so there is no co-pay, surprise bills or rush to meet your deductible. This helps us have more time to bring you good healthcare.
Why It's Important
Getting sick or having a chronic disease can be a scary thing. Unfortunately, patients are often left feeling rushed, unheard, and part of an assembly line. Wait times are outrageous both for getting an appointment and for the day of the appointment. Walk in clinics can be impersonal and are usually just a quick fix.
At direct primary care offices, doctors have TIME to listen to patients. We give you our phone number so you can call us later when you remember the one thing you forgot to ask and so that your loved ones can get an update on your health.
Your doctor knows YOU. She knows your preferences and what worked and didn’t work the last time. She knows your family and what else is going on in your life that may be impacting your wellness.
